Breville Blenders Come In Three Main Categories Including The Hemisphere, Ikon, And Immersion

Posted by lacompagniedesloulous

Founded in 1932, this Australian based company was finally introduced to the United States in 2002. Since then, it has grown to be one of the top blender companies in the US. Breville built its reputation on the use of high quality materials combined with exceptional engineering to give the world a superior blender. Breville offers up three different product lines for Kitchen Remodeling. The Breville Die Cast Hemisphere Blender comes with a 1,000 watt motor and a square polycarbonate jar. The blades are wider than average to hug the sides of the jar which keeps food from being stuck between the blades and jar and blends it smoothly into the whole. Since the jar is scratch resistant and dishwasher safe, this Breville blender is perfect for household use. The Breville Ikon Blender is smaller, with a 750 watt motor and round borosilicate jar. The Ikon is specifically engineered to be quieter during use. The motor has five speeds, which is to allow for a variety of uses. For simplicity, it comes with two preset functions, one for crushing ice and the other for making smoothies, the two most common blender functions. The Breville Immersion blender features a steel cone with for blades for blending foods. This immersion blender is cordless, rechargeable, and runs on NiMH batteries. To clean this blender, eject the cone from the motor and wash after each use. Since the blades are not attached to the motor, they can be put under running water without damaging the machine. All Breville blenders come in a sleek stainless steel design which should complement any kitchen. The jars come with measurements enameled on them for easy recipe assembly. The lids for all the jars are tight fitting, but are supposed to be easily removed with one finger. A one year limited warranty is also included. According to reviews, the Breville blender has one flaw; the silicone gasket leaks over time. Since the blender must be disassembled after each use to properly clean it, the leaking is inevitable. Replace gasket regularly to prevent this issue and others that can result from this leaking.
